Found canoscan 4200F, but a 64 bit driver is loaded & this program uses only a 32 bit driver. So it sounds like the driver is OK but the photo editing program does not support a 64 bit driver. Strange that the Microsoft site claims this printer is compatible with Windows 7 64-bit, as there has never been a 64bit driver for this printer - not for Vista or Windows 7. Canon does not provide a driver for Windows 7 64-bit. You have to change the communication mode in your camera and then use Windows Photo Gallery or other software to transfer the photos.
